Come Meet Our Southern Baptist Mission Leaders & Missionaries and Tour the ILC

What: This is a one-day trip to Richmond to meet our International Mission Board ( IMB) leaders, missionaries, and tour the training center. This is being led by Ken McLemore, the missions pastor at Liberty Live Church.

Who: This is open to any 757 or 804 SBCV ( Southern Baptist Conservatives of VA) church that has a leadership position or oversight of their church's missions ministry. This could be pastors, staff, or laypeople who wish to connect with the IMB and gain a deeper understanding of the work they do with the support of SBC churches.

When: May 12, 2026

Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Lunch: We will eat lunch at the Learning Center with missionaries in training and the cost is $7

How: Car Pool - We will leave from the Liberty Live Hampton Campus at 8:30 AM. Or you can meet us there at the International Learning Center.

NOTE: You will need to make sure to sign up with us so your name is on the list to enter the compound, otherwise you will be turned away at the gate.

In speaking with many leaders in our area, it has become clear that many of our churches do not know a lot about the mission board they already support. Our goal for this trip is to enable our local SBCV churches to connect with IMB leaders and missionaries to gain a better understanding of how their Cooperative dollars are being spent. We also hope that connections can be made to where some churches will have a desire to join some of our missionaries in reaching the nations together.
